Mogherini: only a global alliance can address terrorism effectively

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said that only a global alliance can address the threat of terrorism effectively.

"The attacks in Brussels, Paris and Copenhagen shook our continent. We were brutally reminded that terrorism is a global and European threat," Gazeta.ru cited her as saying. 

According to Mogherini, the EU will enhance security measures to prevent new attacks, but at the same time protect the civil liberties of Europeans.
