Berdimuhamedov: cooperation with Iran is developing effectively

In recent years, the friendly relations and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran, which was effectively developing, has reached a higher level, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said at an expanded session of the government.

At a cabinet meeting it was noted that in February 25-27 in Ashgabat a Turkmen-Iranian Business Forum and Exhibition will be held, with the participation of 120 Iranian companies.

The exhibition will showcase a variety of products, including in the areas of road construction, oil and gas, power generation, water treatment systems, heating and building materials, as well as models of cars, trucks and passenger vehicles, textiles and foodstuffs industry products.

The Turkmen President drew attention to the fact that a key aspect of the country's foreign policy strategy is to strengthen and develop mutually beneficial partnerships with all countries, especially with its immediate neighbors, Trend reports.
