Tbilisi to host jubilee evening of Polad Bulbuloglu

The cultural and musical center of Dzhansug Kakhidze in Tbilisi will host a birthday evening for the famous Azerbaijani singer and composer, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu.

"On February 21 at 19:00 an anniversary concert will be held dedicated to the 70th birthday of Polad Bulbuloglu. The event will be attended by the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra. The chief conductor of the evening will be People's Artist of Azerbaijan Javanshir Jafarov," Trend quotes the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia.

Yesterday Bulbuloglu attended the opening ceremony of a sculptural portrait of his father, the famous Azerbaijani tenor Murtuza Mashadi Rza oglu Mammadov, at the Museum of Azerbaijani Culture named after MF Akhundov in Tbilisi, and on Thursday held a meeting with the Minister of Culture of Georgia, Mikheil Giorgadze, where the development of intercultural relations between the two countries was discussed.
