Poland assures its friendliness to Russia and Transcaucasian countries

The Polish minister of foreign affairs Rodoslaw Sikorski held a speech in the country's seim and announced Poland's priorities in external politics. According to his words, the main principle of Warsaw now is to have good relations with the neighbours, whish let Pland improve the relations with Russia and Germany,  Georgia today reports.

'Now Polish people are not afraid of the Germans any more' - he pointed out and added that a collaboration with this country may be elevated to the level of strategical partnership. 'We also seek to improve our economical, cultural and scientific partnership with Russia' - he underlined. He says that the recently changed attitude to the Katyn crime of the both countries witnesses the normalization of the international relations.

The Minister also said that Gerogia and other countries of South Caucasus, Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the countries of Central Asia are to play the key role in creating alternative ways of transporting energy resources.
