Rostelecom arrives on Armenian market

Rostelecom and the Armenian telecommunication operator GNC Alpha have
signed an agreement on realizing sales of service under the Rostelecom
brand in Armenia, news.am reports.

The agreement was signed by the Senior Vice-President of Rostelecom
Anton Kolpakov and the head of GNC Alpha Ayk Faramazyan within the
framework of the Capacity Russia conference.

According to the agreement, GNC Alpha will be the exclusive partner in
promotion and sales of Rostelecom services in Armenia, including
IP-transit, Internet access and rent of communication channels,
MForum.ru reports.

GNC Alpha was established in 2007. Its main operation is construction
and exploitation of branches of telecommunication networks and
transport network services. The company is cooperating with 400
international operators and companies.
