Smuggling of Latvian cheese from Kazakhstan prevented in Russia

 

The Russian Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance has prevented smuggling of 5500kg of cheese from the Netherlands, 1500kg from Latvia and 2000kg of cheese of unknown origin transported from Kazakhstan, TASS reports.A letter was sent to the head of the veterinary control and surveillance committee of the Kazakhstani Agriculture Ministry with a request to prevent smuggling.
