Mogherini and Ban Ki-moon discuss the situation in Ukraine

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini have held telephone talks discussing the situation in Ukraine. 

Mogherini said that the Minsk agreements must be fully implemented, it's their "common priority". According to her, The EU is "already providing substantial practical and financial support to the OSCE mission, so that it can fully play its role on the ground," Interfax cited her. 

A communiqué issued in Brussels by the European External Action Service states that Mogherini and Ban Ki-moon "discussed the need to coordinate efforts to promote the implementation of the Minsk peace agreements and the strengthening of the Special Monitoring Mission of the OSCE deployed in the country."
