Russia continues dialogue with Georgia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said after talks with the Georgian Prime Minister’s Envoy Zurab Abashidze in Prague that the main outcome of the meeting was readiness to continue the dialogue, RIA Novosti reports.
The meeting lasted over 3 hours, longer than usual due to the range of topics discussed. Karasin considers the negotiating process to be progressive.
Commenting on Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili’s recent statement about the chances for top-level Russia-Georgia negotiations, Karasin confirmed the existence of the opportunity, adding that it would need to be well prepared in order to produce serious political results.
