Lavrov and Kerry to discuss Ukraine
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will meet in Geneva next Monday, the Department of State spokesperson Jen Psaki said.
She noted that Kerry would visit Geneva on March 2 to address a meeting of the UN Human Rights Council. "During the trip, he would also meet with Sergei Lavrov to discuss the situation in Ukraine and a number of regional issues presenting mutual interest," TASS cited Psaki.
After talks with Lavrov, Kerry will visit Montreux to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif. It would be part of the continued talks on settling the situation around the Iranian nuclear programme, which were formally coordinated by the EU.
