Armenia could have new political opposition force

A number of non-parliamentary political forces of Armenia are holding active political consultations. 

 

“According to the latest information, the head of the Union for National Self-Determination, Paruyr Hayrikyan, is the organizer of the meetings. Hayrikyan, confirming the information on the consultations, explained that the meetings are attended by representatives of seven powers: the Union for National Self-Determination, the Heritage party, the Armenian National Movement, the Free Democrats party, the Founding Parliament, the Conservative Party and the Democratic Homeland party," the Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.

 

According to Hayrikyan, the meetings started on February 9.“They are consultative in nature, and we don’t yet have a program of actions. In the future, you will become familiar with them through statements. We are slowly but consistently trying to develop common approaches,” Trend cited the head of the Union for National Self-Determination.
