Matvienko says Ukraine is threatened with disintegration

The uncompromising attitude of the authorities of Ukraine may lead to the disintegration of the country, said the speaker of Russia's Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko.

"If they are not fully aware of what they need to negotiate with the other parts, the DPR and LPR, and find a mutually acceptable solution, such a threat will persist. It is all in the hands of the Kiev authorities," TASS quotes her as saying.
