Azerbaijan monitoring costs of first European Games

The Operational Committee of the Baku European Games (BEGOC) has issued a special statement.The funds and spending on the first European Games are being strictly controlled, and the public is being constantly provided with information on this subject, the CEO of BEGOC, Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov said.The operating profit of the last competitions at such a level (Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014) reached $53 million, in comparison with an investment of $41 billion.
