Deputy head of Russian Muftis Council does not associate Islam with ISIS

 

Rushan Abbyasov, the first deputy head of the Russian Muftis Council, said that the Council and officials of over ten Arab states did not consider ISIS an organization related to Islam. He said at a meeting with diplomats from Yemen, Iraq, Palestine, Kuwait, Algeria, Jordan, Sudan and other states in Moscow yesterday that ISIS members should be called terrorists, bandits, radicals, Vesti FM reports.Abbyasov reminded that over 120 scientists of the Islamic world had recently considered all actions of the ISIS in an open letter to the ISIS leader and concluded that it was violating the norms of Islam.
