Turkey withdraws warnings about military drills in Aegean Sea

Spokesman of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Tanzu Bilgic has clarified that warnings to pilots about military drills on the Aegean Sea, including Greek territories, from March 1 to December 31, 2015, have been lifted, RIA Novosti reports.

No new zones will be declared throughout the period, he said. The latest NOTAM message contained incorrect coordinates. Bilgic reminded that Ankara had invited Athens to mark zones dangerous for flights together, but to no avail.
