Turkey expands trade turnover with China.

Turkey intends to expand trade turnover with China, Recep Tayyip
Erdogan, the head of the Turkish government, announced today in Ankara
after negotiations with Wen Jiabao, the Chinese premier, Trend
reports. According to Erdogan, annual trade turnover will be expanded
from $17 billion to $50 billion. By 2020 annual trade turnover is
expected to reach $100 billion.

Erdogan stressed that Turkey and China
have agreed on a strategic partnership, one result of which will be
the use of the two countries' national currencies in future mutual
payments.
