Mogherini says EU has not changed stance on sanctions against Russia

The head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini said that the EU has not changed its stance on sanctions against Russia.

"We always stayed united. We always continued to stay united. So this is not always easy, but always necessary. All member countries know that unity is our strength," TASS cited her.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed new sanctions against Russia during a telephone conversation.
