Azerbaijan plans to invest up to $20 billion in Turkey

A Georgian-Azerbaijani-Turkish business forum has ended in Tbilisi.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy and Industry, Shahin Mustafayev, stressed the importance of the forum for the energy and Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey transport bridge.

"Today Azerbaijan has 2600 Turkish companies, which have invested $6.3 billion, and in Turkey there are 1500 Azerbaijan companies with investments of $5 billion. However, by 2020, Azerbaijani investments in Turkey will reach $17-20 billion," Mustafayev said.

According to him, in Georgia there are 340 Azerbaijani companies, while in Azerbaijan there are 235 Georgian businesses.
