Dagestani minister criticizes landfillThe Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Republic of Dagestan, Nabiyula Karachaev visited a landfill near the village of Kirpichnyi which contains garbage from Kaspiysk. Local residents have recently complained about the deplorable state of the landfill.After visiting the landfill, the minister admitted that nothing had been done to improve the situation with the landfill. He noted the presence of cattle in the location of the landfill. "All of this is happening against a background of infectious diseases in the republic," he said.
