In Azerbaijan, Turkish experience will be applied to some religious issues, the chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli said today.

This is mainly due to religious education: it is necessary to use Turkish experience in this field. In addition, the relationship between citizens and the Ministry of Religious Affairs that exists in Turkey is of great interest. For example, in the coupling of Ankara there is a hotline on which citizens can get answers to all their religious issues, said Gurbanli, noting that the experience of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Turkey cannot be applied in Azerbaijan, because state-religious relations and management system in this area are built differently there, but advantage can be taken of the positive experience of Turkey in the field of building relationships with outside religious structures, the distribution of religious literature, religious education and state-religious relations, Trend reports.

Gurbanli noted that in Turkey there are no radical religious groups, and even if there are, their influence is negligible. This is connected with the promotion at a national level of traditional Islamic values, and this experience should be used.
