Turkmenistan’s ambassador to Belarus appointed

Nazarguly Shagulyev has been appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus in accordance with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's decree.

The diplomat has also been appointed Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Earlier, Shagulyev served as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) and Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Trend reports.
