Peskov denies link between Kadyrov's award and the arrests of suspects in Nemtsov killing

The Press Secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, said that the awarding of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov has nothing to do with the arrests of suspects in Boris Nemtsov's killing and it is a coincidence.

The decision to make Kadyrov a Companion of Honor was taken a long time ago, Peskov stressed.

"The processing of documents takes a few months," RBC cited the press secretary of the president.
