Azerbaijan to restrict ads for medicine, tobacco and alcohol

 

The Azerbaijani parliament will limit ads for gambling, medical centers, tobacco and alcohol products by passing the new bill on commercials. The bill takes the negative effect of such ads on people, especially minors, into account when debating the document, notes MP Vakhid Ahmedov, News Azerbaijan reports.Gambling ads will only be seen from 11.00pm to 7.00am. Ahmedov emphasized that the bill stipulates restrictions for ads sent by cellphone operators.
