Krasnodar Territory expects to see 15 million tourists annually

 

Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Krasnodar Territory Yevgeny Kudel said today that the number of tourists visiting the region will increase by 22% to 15 million people a year as a result of the financial crisis and European sanctions. He reminded that the number of visitors in 2014 had increased by 0.5 million to 12.3 million, social tourism may further lift the flow to 15 million, RIA Novosti reports.Kudel added that hotels had been full since the doubling of the dollar rate. Almost all brand hotels were booked for May 1 – October 1, with prepayments paid.
