Pakistani President arrives in Azerbaijan

President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit today.The President is being accompanied by a delegation of Pakistani officials and businessmen.

Mamnoon Hussain is paying a visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The negotiations to be conducted during the three-day visit will be focused on the enhancement of cooperation in the fields of economics, trade, education, defense, science and culture. Four agreements will be signed during the visit, APA reports.

Mamnoon Hussain will also confer Pakistan’s highest civil award of Hilal-e-Pakistan upon the First Lady of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva, in recognition of her services to the people of Pakistan and continuous humanitarian work for 10 years.
