SOCAR resumes drilling at Umid Field

 

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has resumed drilling on the Umid Field, said SOCAR Vice President Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh. The drilling process goes simultaneously with tenders, abc.az reports.Successful drilling may lead to construction of a platform for gas extraction, according to the official.The field has about 200 billion cubic meters of gas.
