Head of OSCE PA gives high rating to Kazakh OSCE representative

A Kazakh delegation has participated in the autumn session of OSCE PA in Palermo, where they discussed inter-parliamentary cooperation with the Chairman of the Parliament Assembly Petros Efthymiou, Kazinform reports.

One of the main topics were transnational organized crime and corruption.

Sultanov informed Efthimiou about preparations for a session of the OSCE PA bureau, organized within the framework of the summit of the organization in Astana on November 30, 2011.

The head of OSCE PA gave a high rating to the Kazakh representative in the OSCE and expressed hope that the upcoming summit in Astana will be successful. Efthimiou noted that Kazakhstan plays an important role in security of the Central Asia.
