Upkeep of Dagestani functionaries to drop by 180 million rubles

 

Dagestan will reduce wages of its functionaries by 7.5%, saving 180 million rubles. The parliament approved the adjustments in the budget on Thursday, TASS reports.Functionaries in Dagestan cost the republic’s budget 2.416 billion rubles a year, according to Dagestani Minister of Finances Ali Ismailov. The saved money will be spent to subsidies payments for housing and utilities services of low-income citizens.
