Members of Basayev and Khattab’s gang get 8 years of jail

Arslan Taushev and Rasul Koshmanbetov, who attacked the village of Chervlennaya (Shelkovsky District, Chechnya) in 1999 as members of Shamil Basayev and Amir Khattab’s gang, have been jailed by the Supreme Court of Chechnya to 8 years in prison, RIA Novosti reports.

One of the criminals comes from Stavropol Territory, the other one is from Novy Urengoy.
