Turkish FM: Armenia is cause of problems in South Caucasus

Armenia is the cause of problems in the South Caucasus, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said.

According to him, despite the fact that Turkey has repeatedly held out the hand of friendship to the Armenians, the country’s authorities have rejected this in every way.

Davutoglu noted that Armenia, having problems with relations with all neighboring countries, must reconsider its foreign policy, the Turkish Anadolu news agency reports.

Regarding the issue related to the events of 1915, Cavusoglu said that Ankara is counting on the unchanged position of the US government in this respect, otherwise the relations between Washington and Ankara may worsen.
