The Kazakhstani authorities have filed a lawsuit in New York against unidentified hackers who broke into government computers and leaked the e-mail correspondence of the country’s officials, which consists of thousands of letters, including correspondence between Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prosecutor General Andrey Kravchenko, Justice Ministry Secretary Marat Beketaev and New York-based law firm Curtis Mallet-Prevost Colt & Mosle LLP.

The correspondence was published on Facebook and other Internet resources in January. The Kazakhstani authorities have already launched their own investigation into the incident, TASS reports.
