Putin and Erdogan discuss Turkish Stream

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed bilateral relations during a telephone call, with the focus on energy cooperation, including the Turkish Stream pipeline.


"Various aspects of bilateral cooperation, implementation of important decisions of the fifth meeting of the High Level Cooperation Council [Ankara, December 1, 2014[ with an emphasis on joint projects in the energy sector, including the Turkish Stream, were discussed in a friendly manner, TASS reported with reference to the Kremlin press service.


The sides also exchanged their views on the majority of international and regional issues and the schedule of upcoming contacts at the highest level.
