President of Russian Football Premier League is optimistic about football in Caucasus

President of the Russian Football Premier League Sergey Pryadkin said in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza that the football developments of the past 5 years in the North Caucasus have been fascinating. The official admitted that he had visited Chechnya and Dagestan and saw many children playing football. Both republics, in his words, have many schools, small stadiums, fields for playing.

Pryadkin expressed regret that Alania Vladikavkaz FC had ceased to exist. He said that the problem had been discussed with colleagues from the National Football League and the Professional Football League.
