Belarus expects to boost trade with Kazakhstan

Belarusian and Kazakhstani Presidents Alexander Lukashenko and Nursultan Nazarbayev have met in Astana today. Lukashenko expressed hope of boosting trade between the two countries. He noted that the halving of the value of the Russian ruble has had an effect on Kazakhstan and Belarus, Trend reports.

A lot of time in 2014 had been spent on talks about the EaEU process in 2014, the Belarusian leader said. He proposed exchanging opinions on the expansion of the organization and the admission of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

Lukashenko expressed support for Nazarbayev in his presidential campaign.
