Russia and China snub UN Security Council meeting on Crimea
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussia, China, Venezuela and Angola have snubbed an informal United Nations Security Council meeting on human rights in Crimea.
Earlier, the Russian Permanent Mission to the UN described the meeting as "counterproductive and provocative, which doesn't fall within the purview of the UN Security Council."
"Russia is normally very quick to criticize Ukraine on alleged human rights violations, but completely ignores human rights violations happening under its own rule or under its proxy's rule," Interfax cited Lithuania's UN Ambassador Raimonda Murmokaite.
