Head of Crimea halves his salary

Crimea’s head Sergey Aksyonov has cut his salary by half.

"I have signed a decree on the reduction of my salary by half," he posted on his Twitter page.

Earlier, Aksyonov stated that he has decided to support the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin to cut wages during the crisis, not by 10%, but by half, RIA Novosti reminds.
