Suicide bombing during Novruz celebrations in Syria

At a Kurdish festival in Syria during the celebration of Nowruz, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device, Agence France-Presse reports.

The attack occurred in the town of al-Hasakah in the northeast of the country. The blast killed 20 people, Gazeta.ru reports a representative of the Supervisory Board for Human Rights in Syria as saying.

Dozens of people are injured.
