Yemeni President calls on the people to resist the influence of Iran

Yemeni President Abr Rabbo Mansour Hadi said that the people of his country should resist the influence of Iran, which is believed to be supporting Shiite houthi rebels.

"We will make the country safe and lift the Yemeni flag on Mount Marranos in Sa'ada (northern Yemen, considered to be a stronghold of the houthis - VK) instead of the flag of Iran," TASS quoted him.

"Shiite extremism that is promoted by the houthi police, and Sunni extremism, represented by 'Al-Qaeda' are two sides of the same coin. They do not want the good and the stability of Yemen and its people," Hadi said.
