BRICS countries will cooperate in the field of science

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has ordered a memorandum of cooperation to be signed between BRICS countries in the fields of science, technology and innovation.

The main purposes of this memorandum, as reported by Tass, include "the formation of a strategic framework for cooperation in the fields of science, technology and innovation between the member-states of BRICS."

The Ministry of Education is instructed to sign the memorandum on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation.
