Araghchi: it's necessary to monitor the actions of all sides of the agreement on Iranian atom
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe actions of all sides of a future agreement on Iran's nuclear program should be fully monitored, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi said in an interview with the Tasneem agency.
"Naturally, Iran's nuclear program should be verified by the International Atomic Energy Agency. As well as the commitments that the other side makes to lift the sanctions should be proved practically," he said.
The diplomat said that the agreement to be reached should be certainly balanced. "In other words, any measure should be reversible in an equal manner, or if irreversible, it should be so for both sides," Araghchi added.
"If we nail down a deal, a verification capability should be preserved for both sides, meaning that the commitments made by us or the other side should be both verifiable and provable," TASS cited him.
