Putin awards Russian chief mufti and governor of Voronezh Oblast

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin has awarded Chairman of the Russia Muftis Council Rawil Gaynetdin and Governor of the Voronezh Oblast Alexander Nevsky with the 3rd-rank Order for Merit to the Fatherland for his contribution to interethnic and interreligious peace, TASS reports.Karachay-Cherkessian Leader Rashid Temrezov received the Order of Friendship, Prime Minister of Tuva, Sholban Kara-o’ol, with the 2nd-rank Order for Merit to the Fatherland.
