The five permanent UN Security Council members and Germany are discussing with Iran specific parameters of reviewing the sanctions against Tehran, Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, said at a meeting of the Security Council on the Iranian issue.

"Reaching a settlement and the implementation of expected agreements will be paired with a deep revision of the current sanctions regime," TASS cited the diplomat.

"No new incidents have been reported to the Committee during the current reporting period (18 December 2014 - 23 March 2015)," Sanctions Committee chairman Román Oyarzun Marchesi, who is the Permanent Representative of Spain, said.

Marches also reminded that the sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council "shall remain in force while the negotiations between the six and Iran are continuing." "States are obliged to carry it out properly," he stressed.

French Ambassador to the UN Francois Delattre pointed to a "lack" of progress in the negotiations, especially in matters related to the activities of Iran's uranium enrichment. "Iran must now make difficult choices if it truly wishes to regain the trust of the international community," the diplomat said.

"There are still significant gaps and important choices that need to be made in these negotiations," US Deputy Ambassador to the UN David Pressman said.
