British PM and Iranian president discuss nuclear program

 

British Prime Minister David Cameron and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani have had a telephone conversation about the negotiation process around the Iranian nuclear program. Rouhani said that a political solution may be found already this month, RIA Novosti reports.Both sides express determination to use the negotiations in Switzerland to reach an agreement. Cameron reminded that Iran should comply with its international obligations. Rouhani noted that Tehran will insist on lifting of sanctions as a condition for compromise.Iran and the Group of Six will meet in Lausanne (Switzerland) on March 28 and try to settle remaining disagreements and reach consensus by March 31.
