Maisuradze becomes Georgian representative to NATO

He will take the post on May 1, 2015, Georgia Online reports.Maisuradze is a diplomat, he has been working at the Georgian Foreign Ministry since 1998. In 2008-2012, he was deputy representative of Georgia to the NATO. In 2005-2008 he was deputy director of the Department of Security Policy and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Foreign Ministry, becoming the director of the department late. Since February 2012, Maisuradze has been working at the Georgian embassy in Austria. He is also deputy permanent representative of Georgia to the OSCE and international organizations in Vienna.Maisuradze was given the rank of an extraordinary and plenipotentiary envoy. He has a wife and three children. He speaks English, Spanish and Russian fluently.The post of the Georgian special representative to the NATO has been vacant since January 26, 2015, after resignation of Levan Dolidze.
