Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi said that Iran and the 'Group of six' negotiators have reached an agreement on the conservation of Iran's nuclear facilities.

"We have agreed that the nuclear facilities will be saved," he said, responding to a question about the fate of an underground uranium enrichment plant in Fordo.

This week, the American news agency Associated Press reported that Iran may be allowed to use about a hundred centrifuges at the plant in Fordo, but in exchange Tehran would have to abandon the use of a number of other nuclear facilities.

According to Araghchi, "the crisis in the negotiations (about the Iranian nuclear issue) has been overcome," but at the same time he called on the Western countries to listen to the Iranian opinion. "Though we are close to signing an agreement, it cannot be achieved if our wishes are ignored," TASS quotes the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran.
