UN to begin evacuating staff from Yemen

The United Nations (UN) has begun evacuating personnel from the Yemeni capital Sana'a for security reasons.

On the night of March 26, Saudi Arabia and several other Gulf States launched a military operation against Shiite rebels in Yemen, which is aimed at protecting the country's official authorities.

As reported previously by Vestnik Kavkaza, warships of Saudi Arabia evacuated dozens of foreign diplomats in the southern Yemeni city of Aden.
