Armenia cannot pay for gas, media report
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaArmenia could actually get gas for free if the situation in the management of this industry were not so dire. This conclusion follows from a report that will be presented at the next meeting of the National Assembly.
In particular, it was found that Yerevan would transport gas from Turkmenistan through Iran. And if there are serious investments, Armenia could carry 70 billion cubic meters of transit Iranian and Turkmen gas to other countries, the newspaper Zhoghovurd reports.
In this case, the supplier is obliged to pay 5% of the price of gas. And 5% of 70 billion cubic meters is equal to 3 billion 500 million cubic meters, which is higher than the annual demand of Armenia in gas, which is 2 billion 450 million cubic meters, News.am notes
