The former Transport Minister of Crimea, Anatoly Tsurkin, who resigned yesterday, has been promoted to assistant to the head of the republic Sergei Aksenov on transport, Aksenov announced today.

"Tsurkin was not dismissed - he has been transferred to my assistant. He's a young man, he has prospects of work, but in this case the work, including the Kerch ferry issue, requires some experience: we need a systemic command in the Ministry of Transport, because it is one of the most difficult directions, and people who have experience in the organization of maritime transport. Anatoly, as my assistant in the office, will continue to monitor the implementation of all the issues that he was in charge of before as Minister of Transport," Kryminform quotes the head of the republic.
