Putin may visit Azerbaijan for opening of first European Games in Baku

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin may visit Baku in June to attend the opening of the first European Games, said his Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reports.The first European Games will be held in Baku on June 12-28. The Games will then be held every 4 years. Athletes will compete for 253 sets of medals in 20 types of sports, including 11 types planned for the Rio 2016 Olympics.
