Turkmenistan to launch its first satellite on April 24

The US-based company SpaceX will launch the first communications satellite of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen Alem, on April 24. The satellite is plannes to be put into orbit with help of a Falcon 9 carrier rocket.

The satellite was constructed by the French company Thales Alenia Space. It will be launched from Cape Canaveral, Trend reports.
