Lavrov: the chances of an agreement with Iran are high

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, at a press conference after talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Vanuatu, Sato Kilman, announced his intention to return to the negotiations on Iran's nuclear program with his colleagues in Lausanne.

“I am really planning to return and take part in the final part of the ministerial meeting of the ‘six’,” RIA Novosti cited Lavrov as saying.

“Prospects for this round of talks are not bad, I would even say good. The chances are high,” the minister said.

"We do not recognize in any situation the unilateral sanctions imposed by the US, European and some other countries, whether they ate on Iran or any other country. But it is a question of cooperation between Iran and these countries," Sergey Lavrov said.
